St. Joseph’s High School Githunguri, being a Catholic sponsored school, believes that a journey of a thousand miles begins with one step. We strive to do what is right and to attract success. And what better way to achieve this, other than through our Parents Association (PA).

Our PA has been effective since the school’s inception, and we have created an unbreakable bond with the community around us. We believe in God, and our culture of striving to excel, professionalism, unrelenting and solid cooperation, combined with unmatched commitment by all parties, is our strength in line with the school’s motto “Hard Work Conquers Everything”.

The PA in St. Joseph’s High School Githunguri was formed to take into account the welfare and education of the learners. Parents and teachers study ways and means of bringing up well-educated, competent, and perfectly behaved young citizens. Both parents and teachers seek effective ways of developing each child’s potentials.

As parents of St. Joseph’s High School Githunguri, our critical role beside education is mobilizing finances to help run the school and its activities. We defined, as a school community, our social community responsibility to our neighbours, which has greatly improved our relationship.

Our teachers have exhibited great zeal and agility to improve our academics and discipline among our students. We appreciate them, not forgetting the subordinate staffs who work tireless to support the school.

We strive to excel and believe that with our strong partnership between parents and teachers, we can provide the best education and environment for our children to grow, learn and become well-rounded individuals.
