Welcome to St. Joseph’s High School Ltd

St. Joseph’s High School is a Catholic Sponsored School in Githunguri Sub-county of Kiambu County. It is situated 1KM from Githunguri town on the Githunguri – Kagwe road.

The school was started in 1958 by the Catholic Holy Ghost Fathers.  It was the first African day school in Kenya.

In 1983, the school began to change gradually from Day to Boarding and finally became fully boarding in 1994.

The school currently has 1,200 students from diverse backgrounds owing to the fact that the school is an extra- county school.

The school has 6 streams and the classes are named after the Saints – Gabriel, John, Luke, Michael, Peter and Raphael.
